Fix EVV Location Settings

This article will help you fix your EVV Locations not logging.

iPhone Instructions

  1. Update Phone Settings

    1. Open Settings->Privacy->Location Services. 
    2. Make sure Location Services is on. 
    3. Scroll down and click Safari Websites (or if your using another browser like chrome or Firefox, click those)
    4. Select While Using the App, and make sure precise location is on.
  2. Update Keyboard Settings

    1. Go all the way back to the main settings page.
    2. Go to General->Keyboard->English (US) 
    3. Make sure QWERTY is selected.
    4. Go all the way back to settings and try checking in.



Android Instructions

  1. Update Phone Settings

    1. Open Settings (Locate and tap the Settings app on your Android device.)
    2. Find the. Location Settings (Scroll down and tap Location or Security & Location (the exact wording may vary by device)
    3. Turn on Location
      1. Tap the toggle switch to enable Location.
      2. If prompted, confirm that you want to enable location services.
    4. Select Location Mode:
      1. Under the Mode or Location Accuracyoption (Choose High Accuracy for the most precise location tracking (uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks)).
    5. Ensure App Permissions Are Enabled:
      1. Go back to Settings > Apps > Select the app (e.g., SetWorks or your browser).
      2. Tap Permissions and ensure Location is toggled on.
  2. Enable Location Settings for Web Browsers

    1. Open the Browser App:
      • Launch your preferred browser, such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
    2. Access Browser Settings:
      • Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner (or similar icon depending on the browser).
      • Go to Settings.
    3. Enable Location Access:
      • For Chrome:
        • Navigate to Site Settings> Location.
        • Toggle the switch to allow websites to request location access.
      • For Firefox:
        • Go to Privacy & Security> Permissions> Location.
        • Ensure Ask to Allow is enabled.
    4. Grant Permissions to Specific Websites:
      • Visit a website requiring location services.
      • When prompted, select Allow to enable location tracking for that site.
